You may experience a burning,itching sensation when you begin treatment. This should go away as your body grows accustomed to the medicine.
The area should not be covered, bandaged, or wrapped unless instructed otherwise by your doctor. It is important that you shake the lotion bottle before each dose if you are taking this medication in lotion form.
It is recommended to wash your hands after applying the medication, unless it is being used for hand treatment. Glaucoma can worsen if this medication is applied near the eyes. Rinse with water if this makes contact with your eyes.
