What is Cotazym (Pancrease) used for?

Cotazym (Pancrease) contains pancreatic enzymes that aid in the breakdown and digestion of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Food is digested more easily when the pancreas does not produce enough digestive enzymes. These may include chronic pancreatitis, cystic fibrosis, carcinoma of the pancreas, post-pancreatectomy, and post-gastrointestinal bypass surgery.
