How To Use Cortoderm?

Topical preparations containing hydrocortisone (such as creams, lotions, or ointments) should be applied individually to the affected area to prevent infection. This should be done two to three times daily, but your doctor may suggest using it less frequently.

Wash your hands after applying this medication to avoid getting it in your eyes. When applying medication to an area, do not wrap or bandage it unless your doctor has instructed you to do so. If your symptoms persist beyond 7 days, consult your doctor. Take this medication for a maximum of 4 weeks.

Protect this medication from light and moisture and keep it out of children's reach by storing it at room temperature. Taking two doses to compensate for a missed one is not recommended. If you are unsure what to do, speak to your doctor or pharmacist.

Topical hydrocortisone should always be used for the shortest possible duration and at the lowest possible dose. This reduces your risk of side effects or adverse reactions.

If you miss a dose, you can take it whenever you remember. You can skip the missed dose if it's almost time for your next one. Keep out of reach of children when not in use.
