How To Use Asmanex Twisthaler (Mometasone)?

Inhale/puff this medication last, if you are using other inhalers at the same time. If you are using other inhalers at the same time, wait at least 1 minute between each medication.
Rinse your mouth with water after every use to prevent dry mouth, hoarseness and white patches (oral yeast infection). Do not swallow the rinse water.
The most effective way to get the most benefit from this medication is to take it regularly. This medication works best if you take it at the same time every day in order to remember to take it. Consult your healthcare professional before increasing the dose, using this medication more frequently, or stopping it.
Ensure that you always carry a quick-relief inhaler, and keep track of how many times you use it. You should discard the inhaler after 45 days or 60 days after taking it out of its packaging. Some conditions (such as asthma, allergies) may worsen when suddenly stopping a corticosteroid (such as prednisone) without getting medical advice.
