Caduet (Amlodipine and Atorvastatin ) is an angina prevention medicine that can be used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure, prevent chest pain and other symptoms of heart disease. It is classified as a calcium channel blocker. The blood vessels are relaxed, which makes the heart work less, as a result of easier blood flow. How To Use Caduet?

This medication should be taken once daily as directed by your doctor, with or without food. try taking this around the same time very day to ensure that you

Dosages are determined by your medical condition, response to treatment, and other medications you may be taking. If you take prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, or herbal products, be sure to let your doctor and pharmacist know what you are taking. This can prevent an allergic reaction to other products.

Take this medication with caution, except if you have been instructed otherwise by your doctor. This medication can be absorbed into your bloodstream more quickly if you drink grapefruit juice. Talking to your doctor can determine if you have any risk factors associated with this drug.

The product should be taken at least one hour before or after taking any other medications that lower cholesterol (bile acid-binding resins such as colestipol or cholestyramine). Atorvastatin may not be absorbed fully if these products react with it.

If you feel well, do not stop taking this medication. Most people who have high blood pressure or high cholesterol/triglycerides do not feel sick while taking this medication.

A regular dose of this product may be required for it to be effective if it is being used to treat chest pain. If you experience chest pain, do not use this medication. Instead, use other medicines (such as nitroglycerin under the tongue) as directed by your physician to relieve it.

In case of no improvement or worsening of your condition (such as high or increasing blood pressure or chest pain), call your doctor. You may need to seek immediate medical attention if you experience muscle problems such as unexplained muscle pain tenderness or weakness. This may be a sign of decreased liver function or kidney disease.

  • clay-colored stools, or
  • jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes).
