What is Jublia (efinaconazole) used for?
JUBLIA (efinaconazole) topical solution, 10% is used to treat fungal toenail infections. Fungi can't grow on it, so it works by stopping them. Only fungal infections are treated with this medication. Bacterial infections, for instance, will not be treated with it. Drugs used to treat infection can become less effective if they are overused or used unnecessarily.

How To Use Jublia (efinaconazole)?
The product is intended for use on nails and surrounding skin only. Use JUBLIA only for external use. Avoid using it in your mouth, eyes, or vaginal area.
Make sure you follow your doctor's instructions exactly. Typically you would use the product over the entire toenail including the cuticle. Wash your hands before and after use. This is used for a maximum of 48 weeks.
Wait 10 minutes after showering, bathing or washing your toes before applying your dose.
In children under 6 years of age, JUBLIA is not known to be safe and effective.
Tell your doctor about any medical conditions you or your child have, including pregnancy, breastfeeding, or plans to breastfeed, since it's not known whether this can harm unborn children or nursing infants.
Be sure to tell your doctor about any medications you are taking, as well as any other nail infections your child may have.
The compound in JUBLIA is flammable, so avoid applying it to your toenails on a hot or open flame. Store at room temperature away from children and animals when not in use.
There is a possibility that it will cause irritation to the treated area. There are several common side effects of this treatment, such as ingrown toenails, redness, itching, swelling, burning, blistering, and pain.
