1. Changes to U.S. Import Regulations
As of August 29, 2025, the U.S. government has removed the de minimis exemption, which previously allowed packages valued under $800 to enter the United States without paying import duties.
This means that all shipments from Canada to the U.S. now require prepaid customs duties and tariffs before they can be sent.
To meet these requirements, a tariff surcharge will now apply to all orders shipped from Canada. This additional cost goes directly toward covering the required import fees.
2. Order Processing Times
While our team continues to work efficiently, processing times may be longer than usual due to these new customs procedures.
We are committed to keeping orders moving as quickly as possible and will continue to update you if any unexpected delays occur.
3. Pricing and Payments
The new import laws have also affected pricing.
- A tariff surcharge will be added to cover the customs duties now required for shipments entering the United States.
- Prices may differ slightly from your previous orders due to these additional costs.
- You will not be charged until your order is ready to ship.
If your order is delayed or affected by customs changes, our team will contact you to confirm the updated price and shipping details before processing payment.
