Omnaris Nasal Spray (ciclesonide nasal spray)

Before using this medication, gently blow your nose. Shake the container gently before each use. Remove the dust cap.

Follow the instructions to prime the bottle properly when using it for the first time. If you haven't used it for 4 or more days, you should prime it again. A fine spray indicates that the pump is primed correctly.

Use this medication exactly as your doctor instructed, usually once a day.

Don't exceed 2 sprays in each nostril per day, as using more may increase the risk of side effects.

Avoid spraying the medication in your eyes or directly onto the wall between your nostrils (nasal septum). Follow the detailed instructions for using the spray.

After each use, wipe the spray tip with a clean tissue and put the protective cap back on.

If the spray tip gets blocked, don't try to unblock it with a sharp object. Consult the Patient Information Leaflet for proper instructions on unblocking the spray bottle.

Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit. Try to use it at the same time every day to help you remember.

Be aware that this medication doesn't work immediately. It could take up to 2 weeks for relief from seasonal allergies and up to 5 weeks for year-round allergies. If you're using it to prevent seasonal allergies, start taking it 2-4 weeks before the pollen season begins.

Keep track of the number of sprays used from each container. Dispose of the container after using the specified number of sprays mentioned on the package. It is good for 4 months after removing the bottle from the foil pouch.
